This site
I've created this blog to blog about education from my point of view. It's also a way for me to externalise my thoughts about education outside of my formal University setting.

HI, Mick - I found your blog space because I am tidying mine up this morning (we are having a mid-winter blizzard here and it is only May).
You commented in 2004 on a Blog entry of mine about quant research - I don't know if I ever spotted your reply - but thank you.
You wrote:
"It's interesting how many people do see a tension between quantitative and qualitative research methods but I (like you) don't see a tension, they are complimentary and fit for purpose - both are useful in their own right."
I am transferring this to my new blog called hem35 - reflections on a thesis and closing down old blogs. Like you I am rationalising as I find time.
Hope all is well with you. I met with John C yesterday about your 261 course. I am teaching it in the second semester - Derek is moving it to moodle for me.
MMMM is it sensible to gossip in a blog posting - why not - maybe you will find it - but who cares if you don't
